Needingworth
Aspen Build successfully delivered the Needingworth development, comprising the construction of 14 high-quality detached and semi-detached dwellings designed to provide attractive new homes within the local community. The project included the full development of the site, incorporating new access arrangements, landscaping, parking provisions, drainage infrastructure and associated external works to create a complete residential scheme.
The development required careful planning and coordination to ensure all elements of the works were delivered to a high standard. From the initial site preparation through to completion, Aspen Build’s experienced project team managed the various construction activities, ensuring the homes, infrastructure and surrounding areas were completed with quality and efficiency at the forefront.
The new homes have been constructed using modern timber frame construction methods on strip foundations, providing a sustainable and efficient building solution while maintaining excellent standards of durability and performance. Each property features tiled roofing and a carefully considered mix of face brickwork, cladding and render across the external elevations, creating a varied and visually appealing development that complements the surrounding area.
A key element of the project was the delivery of the supporting infrastructure required to create a fully functioning residential development. The foul drainage system was successfully connected into the Anglian Water network through a Section 106 Agreement, ensuring the development was delivered in line with the necessary statutory requirements and providing a reliable long-term solution for residents.
Key features
Sustainable surface water management was also incorporated into the design, with attenuation achieved through the use of permeable paving across the parking bays and access road. This approach supports effective drainage management while reducing environmental impact and ensuring the development performs efficiently throughout its lifespan.
Attention to detail throughout the scheme has resulted in a development that combines modern construction techniques with attractive architectural finishes. The blend of materials, considered landscaping and carefully planned external works create a welcoming environment, providing residents with well-designed homes that are both practical and visually appealing.
