This scheme comprised of 18 private sale units all completed to a high specification along with external remodelling to both the facade & roof of the building, including the existing basement level car park. The existing building covered a footprint of approximately 1316m2

This building was previously utilised as an office building so our first task was to undertake and extensive soft strip demolition programme consisting of the removal of all previous plant and equipment. This allowed design team access to assess the existing structural characteristics and compliance to the new design layouts.

The challenges faced on this project included working around and above live trading commercial outlets with consideration to noise vibration and access scaffolds all needing a great deal of coordination and planning with tenants.

The remodelling and design of this scheme was made challenging due to the existing Structure, the building was a masonry construction that stipulated the design restraints of the flat layouts and required some sequenced build works to allow the new layouts to be fully formed.

The project saw the specification delivery to match our Anglian Water project and focused around a high end city living approach with Porcelanosa sanitary ware and tiles, high end kitchens and Camaro Loc floor finishes. This project also saw the incorporation of two penthouse apartments with improved specification and floor space to the top floor including a roof terrace.
