The Construction Youth Trust has partnered with Aspen on CYT projects which support the careers programme in schools and colleges by facilitating engagements with employers as well as meaningful work experience opportunities for students.
On the 18th of September 2020 Aspen Builds Manager of London and Essex Operations, James Doubleday, was one of the guest speakers in a zoom meeting entitled ‘Careers Networking’ under Aspen’s partnership agreement with the Construction Youth Trust Programme.
James spoke about how to decide to get into the construction industry and the path he chose including training, education, work placement and full-time employment.
James gave the opportunity at the end of the course for students to ask questions about how they can enter educational programmes structured towards entry into the construction industry and also apprenticeships.
